The country of Jordan and IBM are in discussions to establish a nanotechnology center, with both sides saying a strategic agreement will soon be signed. The center will focus on providing innovative solutions in the field of water and energy. According to Marwan Juma, the Jordanian Minister of Information and Communications, “[T]he research centre, which will benefit from IBM’s advanced technologies and solutions, will be a boost to Jordan’s research in the field of energy and water, which are two strategic and vital sectors for the Kingdom.
