The National Nanotechnology Center (NANOTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), supported and participated in the 29th Annual International Symposium on Computational Science and Engineering (ANSCSE29), held under the theme “From Light to Insight: Engineering Tomorrow with Synchrotron and Computational Simulations,” during 23–25 July 2026 at Kantary Hotel Korat, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.
As a leading international forum in computational science and engineering, ANSCSE29 brought together researchers from around the world to exchange knowledge and advance collaborations across diverse fields, including artificial intelligence (AI), computational biology, quantum physics, chemistry, chemical engineering, fluid dynamics, and computational simulations.
The symposium was officially opened by Dr. Supawadee Namuangruk, Senior Researcher of the Simulation Research Team (SIM), Nano Catalysis, Adsorption and Computation Research Group (NCAS), NANOTEC, in her capacity as President of the Association for Computational Science and Engineering. Welcome remarks were delivered by Dr. Pinit Kidkhunthod of the Synchrotron Light Research Institute (Public Organization) and Professor Dr. Santi Maensiri, Acting Dean of the Institute of Science, Suranaree University of Technology.
NANOTEC researchers presented their latest research through both oral and poster presentations. Ms. Nurulsafilarnaria Benjawanmas, Postgraduate Researcher of the Simulation Research Team (SIM), NCAS, received the Oral Presentation Award for her presentation entitled “A Web-based Database of Curated Experimental MOFs for Multi-Gas Adsorption and Separation.”
Through its participation in ANSCSE29, NANOTEC reaffirmed its commitment to advancing computational science and nanotechnology research while strengthening international research networks and fostering future scientific collaborations.
