Recently Prof. Sirirurg Songsivilai, Executive Director NANOTEC met with Mr. Geng Tu (Manager, Dept. of International Affairs, Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and Mr. Yano Masahito, Senior program Coordinator, JST Singapore Office. The JST representatives were in town to meet with NSTDA to promote the e-Asia Joint Research Program.
NANOTEC is interested in e-Asia program as a tool to broaden research collaboration between NANOTEC researchers and international partners, and increase visibility.
e-Asia JRP (East Asia Science and Innovation Area Joint Research Program) is a framework for multilateral collaboration in science and technology which works on a matching fund approach to support multilateral joint research projects.
