Abstract:
Nanotechnology is here to stay. The problem is not whether we like it or not but that there will be an increase in the use of nanotechnology in everyday life. The market is just too big and worth billions of dollars. For this reason, it is necessary to promote awareness to topics related to affects that nanomaterials may have on human health and natural environment.
The talk will discuss these issues/concerns and will also look at current research activities that is taking place at Nano Safety and Risk Assessment Lab.
