When a magnetic field is applied perpendicular to a graphene sheet, electrons in the material move in circular cyclotron orbits. These circular orbits have been imaged for the first time by researchers at Harvard University in the US and the National Institute for Materials Science in Japan. Imaging electron motion in this way could help in the design of better devices made from atomically thin nanostructures……
