On 29 August 2023, H.E. Seyed Reza Nobakhti, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Thailand, accompanied by Mr. Mansour Kiaei, First Secretary, paid a courtesy visit to NANOTEC.
The visit aimed at updating the active collaboration on nanotechnology including nanosafety, standardization, and the development of nanofibrous membranes between researchers of both countries.
In this regard, Dr. Pavadee Aungkavattana, Deputy Executive Director of NANOTEC led H.E. Seyed Reza Nobakhti and Mr. Mansour Kiaei, First Secretary to visit the Nanoparticle and Cosmetic Production Plant. This innovative facility, operating under the auspices of NANOTEC, is dedicated to leveraging nanotechnology innovations in the realm of nano-particle production for various applications including cosmetics. It serves as a platform to motivate entrepreneurs in cosmetic industries to integrate nanotechnological advancements into their products.
The Nanoparticle and Cosmetic Production Plant boasts a spectrum of services tailored to the cosmetic sector. These services encompass diverse scales of production, ranging from small-scale trial runs for product analysis and market research, all the way up to large-scale and industrial-level production adhering to the rigorous standards of ASEAN GMP for Cosmetics. This comprehensive array of offerings is designed to cater to the interests of those keen to harness nanotechnology’s potential in their products for high value added and uplifting the capability of the Thai industries.
