Congratulations to Dr. Jayanant Iemsam-arng researcher at Nano-cosmeceuticals Lab at NANOTEC and member of her team who received the Group Presentation Certificate (2nd Prize) for their presentation on “Nanotechnology for the societal risk management” at the ANFoS Young Scientist Workshop for Leading the Next Generation. The workshop was held as part of the Asia Nano Forum Summit program in Tsukuba, Japan on January 28.
“I consider the opportunity to work with researchers from other nations an important stepping stone in my research career” said Dr. Jayanant. “The pressure to get the job done in a diverse setting was certainly a positive experience, and receiving the certificate for the hard day’s work was a plus”.
Dr. Jayanant represented Thailand and her group consisted of Dr. Joon Ching Juan (Assoc.Prof. from University of Malaya, Malaysia), Mr. Xuming Sun (PhD candidate from Peking University, China).
ANFoS is an annual meeting where representatives from all 16 of ANF member economies meet to update the Nanotechnology development and discuss related issues such as policy, R&D, EHS-Standardization, education and commercialization. ANF annual general meeting is also held during the summit.
