NANOTEC International Advisory Board (IAB) members play a multi tasks roles. In addition to providing recommendation related to technology trends and research directions, they also participate as technical speakers in various seminars and workshops. Recently, 5 of NANOTEC IAB members were invited to give special technical talk at the NSTDA Annual Conference 2014 (NAC 2014) in Thailand Science Park.
In the topic of Smart Materials and Textiles, Prof. Markus Antoneitti, Director of Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, Germany teamed up with Prof. Harald Krug, Head of Research Focus Area “Health & Performance” at EMPA, Switzerland gave a talk on “The Nanodimension of Fabrics and Fibers: Opportunities for S&T” and “Smart Textiles and Plymers for Daily Use: Future Applications and safety Aspects”.
In the topic of Advances in Nanobiosensors for Biomedical Applications, Prof. Bong Hyun Chung, Director of BioNano Health Guard Research Center at KRIBB, Korea joined force with Dr. Meyya Meyyapan, Chief Scientist for Exploration Technology, NASA Ames Research Center, USA, and Prof. Matthew R. Phillips, Director of Microstructural Analysis Unit, University of Technology Sydney, Australia to present talks on:
