Nanotechnology will be one of the highlight topics at the 25th NSTDA Annual Conference (NAC 2016) “The Power of R&D” which will take place from March 31 – April 1 at Thailand Science Park. A press conference chaired by Dr. Thaweesak Koanantakool, President of NSTDA was organized this morning at the Ministry of Science and Technology. 2 NANOTEC highlight research projects were on displayed at this event:
- INSpectDx a research collaboration activity between with Siriraj Hospital (Mahidol University) and NANOTEC on smart solution for cervical cancer diagnosis,
- Nano-Myseptic Mybacin Breath Mouthwash and Nano-Myseptic Mybacin Breath Mouthspray which uses nanotechnology to create long lasting release of active substances that produces cooling effect and fresh breath to the oral cavity area. This is a research collaboration project with Greater Pharma Manufacturing Co.,Ltd.
In addition to exhibition, various technical presentations related to nanotechnology and concurrent event such as “Integrating Public Awareness of Nano Safety Education in the 21st Century”, and Technology Licensing discussion will also take place during NAC 2016.
