NANOTEC welcomed the delegates from Cosmetic Valley, France

On November 1, 2024, Dr. Uracha Ruktanonchai, Executive Director of NANOTEC, NANOTEC executives and researchers, had the honor of welcoming a delegation from Cosmetic Valley, France, to NANOTEC, Thailand Science Park. The delegation was accompanied by representatives from the Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS) and the Thai Cosmetic Cluster (TCOS). The visiting delegation included Ms. Franckie BÉCHEREAU, Deputy CEO for Europe and International Affairs at Cosmetic Valley, Dr. Patcharaporn Wongsa, Program Director, Nutraceuticals and Cosmeceuticals, TCELS, and Ms. Lucksupa Prapawit, President of TCOS. The meeting was centered around exploring potential collaboration opportunities between the three organizations.

During this visit, the delegation visited the laboratory of the Advanced Nanotechnology Characterization, Safety, and Informatics Research Group. They also had the opportunity to learn more about KronoLife Co., Ltd., a startup supported by the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), which demonstrates significant potential to engage in the Cosmeceutical and Herbal Innovation with Business Link (CIB) project. This project is designed to foster business linkages within the cosmetics, herbal extracts, and cosmeceutical sectors, with a focus on expanding market access both domestically and internationally. The delegation was introduced to the research outputs on testing and analysis, as well as herbal extract innovations, which aligned with their interest in advancing the cosmetics and cosmeceutical industries. The visit underscored NANOTEC’s capabilities in nanotechnology and its potential to meet the evolving needs of these industries.
