NANOTEC welcomed Delegates from MPIP, GERMANY

On October 24, 2024, Dr. Wiyong Kangwansupamonkon, Deputy Executive Director for Research and Development (Nanoprocess Technology), represented NANOTEC to welcome Prof. Dr. Katharina Landfester, Director of the Physical Chemistry of Polymers at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, and Prof. Dr. med. Volker Mailänder, Professor from the Department of Dermatology at the University Medical Clinic of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research. The meeting also included Dr. Udom Asawapirom, senior researcher, Dr. Doungporn Crespy, researcher from Advanced Nano Agriculture Research Team and Dr. Raweewan Thiramanas, researcher from Nanocosmeceuticals Research Team. The purpose of their visit was to discuss and explore potential research partnerships.

In addition to the meeting, both were invited to give special talks. Prof. Dr. Katharina Landfester, who experts in the synthesis of nanoparticles, nanomaterials, and polymeric materials, presented on “Cascade Reactions in Confined Polymeric Modules.” Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. med. Volker Mailänder, who specializes in protein corona, targeting, and GMP-compliant production of nanocarriers, delivered a talk on “Multifunctional Nanocarriers: Enabling Tumor Vaccination by Co-Encapsulating Antigen and Adjuvants for In Vivo Tumor Vaccination.” The event attracted researchers, experts, and scientists from various fields.
