NANOTEC/ NSTDA participated in the COSTI-86 meeting in Singapore.

Dr. Uracha Ruktanonchai, Executive Director of National Nanotechnology Center (NANOTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), participated in the 86th Meeting of the ASEAN Committee on Science, Technology, and Innovation (COSTI-86). She also attended related meetings, including the Sub-Committee on Science and Technology Infrastructure and Resources Development (SCIRD) and the Board of Advisors to COSTI (BAC). The meeting was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Supachai Pathumnakul, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI), along with other executives and staff from the Ministry.

The meeting’s purpose was to discuss and report on the status of activities and projects in Thailand, monitor the progress of ASEAN member countries, and facilitate the exchange of policies related to science, technology, and innovation with other nations. Additionally, it included the presentation of a summary report on the ASEAN RI Landscape Study, with Dr. Uracha serving as Chair of the ASEAN RRI Task Force.

Furthermore, Dr. Nuttaporn Pimpha, Director of Nanocatalysis, Adsorption, and Simulation Research Group, NANOTEC/NSTDA who was honored with the ASEAN-US Science Prize for Women in 2014, participated in the ASEAN Women in Science Hub (A-WISH) during this event, which was supported by the ASEAN-USAID Partnership Program.
