Visiting professor to academia and/or research institutions is an important integrates to boost exchange of knowledge among researchers and help leap frog research development. NANOTEC is pleased to announce and welcome two visiting professors in 2014.
- Prof. Dr. Richard Randall Wickett
Professor of Pharmaceutics and Cosmetic Science, College of Pharmacy University of Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
Duration of visit: 16 Jan – 15 Feb, 2014
He will take the role of advising for the nano-cosmeceuticals laboratory, as well as building the international research network and development NANOTEC researchers’ scientific skills.
2. Dr.Yong-Kyung Choe
Principal Investigator at Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (KRIBB), Korea
Duration of visit: 16 Jan – 30 Dec, 2014
NANOTEC and KRIBB have been established strong collaboration since 2011. As a result of our collaboration, we came up with two collaborative research projects on our mutual interest. Giving the importance to expand our research collaboration, we have set up NSTDA-KRIBB joint laboratory in Thailand Science Park which starts operating in 2014. Dr.Yong-Kyung Choe will help advising for Nanobiotechnology research and development on Nanomedicine, NanoBiosensor and Nanosafety and, as well as in helping develop the potential international research network and develop NANOTEC researchers’ scientific skills.
