Monitoring and Process Engineering Laboratory Research Team

Research and development of Monitoring and Process Engineering Laboratory (MAP) aims to provide innovative solutions through the convergence thinking based on theories, system and process designs and prototyping challenges to serve the industrial requirement and their problem solving which needs to create and validate the demonstrated prototypes.

Our current research areas focus on

  1. Design and develop the devices for customer target screening and monitoring.
  • Sensors and transducer devices, Electronic Nose (e-Nose)
  • Nano-bubbles system
  1. Fabrication and synthesis of nanostructured materials.
  • Nano zero-valent iron (nZVI) Particle-based Nanocomposite structures for Arsenic Remediation and Detection
  1. Research and develop the data analytic processing for identification and quality evaluation in several industrial applications.
  • Pattern recognition, Principal component analysis, Statistical algorithms
