Recently, three Thai scholarship students took the opportunity during their year-end school break to visit families in Thailand and also gave presentations of their research projects to senior research colleagues at NANOTEC.
The three Ph.D candidate students are:
- Miss JAYANANT IEMSAM-ARNG, School of Pharmacy, University of London, UK gave a presentation on “In vitro study of Star-shape polymers as a tool for gene delivery”.
- Mr. TEERAPONG YATA, Faculty of Medicine, Imperial Collegae London, UK gave a presentation on “New generation of multifunctional filamentous bacteriophage nanocarriers for vascular-targeted gene therapy of cancer”.
- Mr. KHOONSAKE SEGKHOONTHOD, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Imperial College London, UK gave a presentation on “Periodic Interconnect for Internal MRI”.
The three students received the Minister of S&T scholarship to complete their Ph.D studies in the UK. Up on completion of their studies, the three students will join NANOTEC group of researchers at Thailand Science Park. We look forward to welcoming them to the NANOTEC family.
