The One Tambon One Product (OTOP) is a government initiated stimulus program designed to support locally made and marketed products of each subdistricts. NSTDA and the NSTDA Northern Network recently organized the 4th OTOP Workshop for cosmetic sector on the topic of Quality Control. Over 160 OTOP cosmectic manufacturers from 76 provinces (Bangkok not included) attended the workshop. NANOTEC was invited to particpate as both speaker and exhibitor. Dr. Chaisak Chansriniyom from NANOTEC Nano-cosmeceuticals Lab gave a presentation on the capabilities of his lab in using naotechnology to produce novel cosmeceutical products from natural herbs.
