On 10 May 2023, NANOTEC, Thailand in collaboration with The University of Sydney, Australia organized the workshop on hydrogen production (virtual meeting). This is the kick-off activity between NANOTEC and The University of Sydney with an aim to bring together Australian and Thai professors and researchers to learn and share research experiences on “hydrogen production”.
The workshop started with the Welcome and Introductory Overview of the Net Zero Initiative and context within Australia by Professor Deanna M. D’Alessandro, Professor & Director, Net Zero Initiative, School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering (Faculty of Engineering), School of Chemistry (Faculty of Science), University of Sydney. Then, Dr. Wannee Chinsirikul, NANOTEC Executive Director, gave a welcome remark and presented on Introduction of Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage Technology Roadmap (CCUS TRM) in Thailand. There were six speakers from The University of Sydney and NANOTEC sharing their recent works related to decarbonization and net zero. Both sides are interested in granting opportunity for research collaboration and partnership.
