On 27 January 2026, the National Nanotechnology Center (NANOTEC), under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), led by Prof. Dr. Sukij Limpijumnong, President of NSTDA<\/strong>, and Dr. Uracha Ruktanonchai, Executive Director of NANOTEC<\/strong>, visited leading innovation and industrial organizations in Japan to explore collaboration opportunities and promote the translation of nanotechnology research into industrial applications.The delegation visited Incubation CANVAS TOKYO (artience incubation center) to exchange views on innovation incubation, startup support, and research networking between Thai and Japanese stakeholders. They also toured Shimadzu Tokyo Innovation Plaza, a major R&D hub for advanced analytical technologies, and Mitsui Chemicals Sodegaura Center (Vision Hub\u2122 Sodegaura), the company\u2019s largest R&D facility focusing on high-performance materials for healthcare, ICT, mobility, and digital science.
\nIn parallel, Dr. Chuleekorn Chotisuwan, a researcher from NANOTEC<\/strong>, delivered a keynote presentation titled \u201cInnovative Nanohybrid Materials Toward Sustainable Commercialization<\/em>\u201d at the ANF Commercialization Workshop. Her talk highlighted the applications of soft conductive rubber and transparent nanohybrid materials, and concluded with a discussion on multilateral research opportunities with representatives from Malaysia, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Iran.
\nDr. Chuleekorn also joined Dr. Pisist Kumnorkaew, Director of the Nanocomposite Materials and Nanoprocessing Research Group at NANOTEC,<\/strong> in a visit to Mitsubishi Materials Corporation (MMC) to exchange knowledge on materials science and sustainable manufacturing technologies.<\/p>\n
