NSB research team focuses on research and development of predictive models for application in environmental & health safety evaluation, nanotoxicology, food safety, biological activity screening and efficacy studies through the variety of predictive model development and innovative technology. Our current areas of research are:
1) Microphysiological systems (in vitro and ex vivo): intestinal models, skin models, inhalation exposure models, organ-on-chip
2) Zebrafish model (in vivo): toxicology and environmental health, pharmaceutical and biomedical research, high-throughput screening and transgenic model
Computational models: Life cycle analysis, pharmacokinetic and toxicokinetic modeling
